Attorney Michael Levine

Michael began his career as an assistant public defender, gaining invaluable trial experience while also serving his lifelong commitment to the underdog. After 19 years in his own private practice, Michael joined Palmer Perlstein in 2022. In addition to having won acquittals in a wide array of cases – from federal bank and wire fraud to the most serious child abuse cases – Michael has had significant wins in post-conviction matters, including in Ex parte Tuley, establishing the cognizability of a claim of actual innocence where a petitioner pled guilty to the challenged offense.
